Elka Wilson

Elka Wilson joined ACRE in April 2026 as Corporate Controller. She brings extensive experience in accounting, financial reporting, and operational leadership across real estate and insurance platforms.

Prior to joining ACRE, Ms. Wilson served as Vice President – Accounting at Southern Insurance Companies, where she led accounting functions and supported the development of financial processes and reporting infrastructure. Earlier in her career, she spent over a decade at Columbia Property Trust, a publicly traded real estate investment trust with more than $5 billion invested in commercial office properties. During her tenure, she served as Vice President – Controller and later Senior Vice President – Corporate Operations, overseeing all aspects of accounting, consolidation, reporting, and operational processes for the firm’s real estate portfolio and its partners.

Ms. Wilson began her career at Genuine Parts Company, a Fortune 500 company based in Atlanta, where she developed a strong foundation in corporate accounting and finance.

Ms. Wilson holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Berry College and a Master of Business Administration from Kennesaw State University. She is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Georgia.
