Kristen Mauro

Kristen Mauro serves as Vice President of Operational Asset Management at ACRE, where she leads operational asset management initiatives within the firm’s Credit platform. With more than 15 years of multifamily and mixed-use real estate experience, she brings a strong record of improving asset performance across diverse markets and property types.

Prior to joining ACRE, Kristen held senior operational leadership roles overseeing multi-asset portfolios across the East Coast and Southeast. She directed revenue strategy, expense management, and overall asset execution across lease-ups, repositionings, operational turnarounds, and stabilized communities. In these roles, she managed complex operating environments and partnered closely with ownership groups to align operational plans with investment strategies and long-term asset business plans.

Her experience spans mixed-use communities, urban high-rise assets, and value-add repositioning efforts, providing her with broad exposure to varying market conditions and operational challenges. She has led teams through periods of transition, growth, and stabilization while maintaining focus on measurable performance outcomes.

Kristen is known for her ability to clearly communicate asset strategy and drive alignment across operators, partners, and stake holders to ensure coordinated execution at every level. She approaches operational asset management with an emphasis on accountability, clarity, and consistent forward progress.

She earned her MBA from Wilmington University with a concentration in organizational leadership and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Delaware.
